Mr. Young joined BLN Securities in 2009 as Managing Director of Municipal Bond Underwriting and Trading. Steve has over 30 years in the municipal bond industry. He most recently headed the Public Finance Dept. at SAMCO Capital Markets. Prior to that he spent 20 years at Morgan Stanley where he served as the Regional Mgr. of the Southwest Municipal Bond Committing Desk and headed the new issue underwriting effort. He is well versed in all areas of the municipal finance business. Mr. Young graduated from Texas A&M University with a BBA in Finance. He is a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at SMU. Steve is a former board member and past chairman of The Municipal Advisory Council of Texas and also served as President of the Municipal Bond Club of Dallas. Mr. Young is registered with FINRA as both a Municipal Securities Principal (Series 53) and General Securities Principal (Series 24).
